My Own Brand

It's a real wake-up call when you realize that you've exerted so much time and energy understanding everyone else's brand, but doing nothing to really build your own. My work is scattered everywhere across the great interactive landscape, but there has been nothing to tie it all together. So, this is my attempt to consolidate a lot of my efforts and have a central location so others can get an overview of my personality, opinions, philosophies, and work.

This site is dedicated to the concept of Idea Management. I never quit looking at life from different perspectives. I never stop searching for new ways to do things. Even more exciting than coming up with a new idea is inspiring someone else. Idea Management is about getting the best ideas out of people. Using the group's experiences and expertise to grow an idea. It's about getting clients to see the vision and buy-in. (Nothing is worse than having a great idea go unrealized because of a stakeholder with an ego.) I'm not proud. I'm rarely the one that has the great idea. I'm just the one that people seem to bring their creative ideas to. And that is my passion.

The concept was based on principals of motivation and inspiration while tapping into the unique professional and personal interests of every employee. While this spotlight does not dive into the technical intricacies of the Idea Generator, it does go into the philosophy behind it as well as the need it satisfied within the organization.

Passion: Putting It All On the Line

Something I enjoy more than great ideas is passion. Anytime anyone puts their whole heart and soul into anything, it inspires me beyond measure. Here is a great example from the 2004 NCAA Championship. You TubeBlog Entry
